Lifting the lid on TPS at the Manufacturing Management Show

Go behind the scenes of manufacturing’s most revered operating system at the Manufacturing Management Show this November.

Tony Wallis, commercial director at Toyota Material Handling will be lifting the lid on the concepts – from just-in-time to jidoka – that have made the Toyota Production System (TPS) the vanguard of manufacturing globally.

Wallis will be demonstrating how you can apply TPS principles at your site, as well as explaining a few of the less well-known aspects of the system. Aspects such as respect, recognising and nurturing future talent and a long-term approach by senior management have all helped make TPS the success it is.

The Manufacturing Management Show is being held on 23-24 November at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry. As well as Toyota, the full conference programme includes sessions from companies including Jaguar Land Rover, Coca-Cola and Hozelock. To register your place, click here.
