The software creates a central, company-wide knowledge base for design, development and delivery information, while also classifying and organising the data along business lines. The system uses information already captured in your PDM (product data management) system, and helps with cost cutting and competitiveness by significantly improving your efficiency and rate of product development. You get a flexible n-level classification taxonomy, standard rep-use attribute definitions, parametric search and comparison facilities, role-based library classifications (with content being simultaneously browsed and searched using different definitions), usage tracking and royalty management.
