MAN, the nine company coalition that offers technical excellence in all aspects of mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering processes, is celebrating its fifth birthday in style by announcing a recent contract haul in the automotive, aerospace medical and white goods sectors.
It takes the group's total sales past the £10m mark and has helped protect and create in excess of 100 jobs in the manufacturing base.
MAN whose member companies are Advanced Chemical Etching, Alucast, Barkley Plastics, Brandauer, FW Cables, PP Electrical Systems, SMT Developments, Westley Engineering and Wrekin Circuits.
Spokesman Ian Wiles said: "There is nothing like MAN anywhere in the UK and Europe and we want to take this unique approach to a whole new audience who may not know about us. The beauty of our offer is that clients can choose exactly the number of members they need to complete the project...this could be one, two, three or even the entire group. Taking this way of working has already helped many businesses in the aerospace, automotive, electronics and low carbon markets to launch new projects and reduce costs."
The group will be exhibiting at Southern Manufacturing and Electronics this week on Stand J49.
