Executive MBA graduates can achieve a 75% salary hike by completing a course at Aston Business School, new research has revealed.
The huge pay rise can be achieved by following the Birmingham-based business school’s part-time, evening Executive Masters in Business Administration programme. (EMBA)
It follows the EMBA programme being named in the top 50 in the world, in rankings published by the Financial Times. The findings reveal that Aston Business School graduates can expect an average salary of US $109,542 (£54,000) which represents an increase of 75% compared to their earnings prior to starting the programme.
The ranking is compiled from interviews with graduates from the past three years and shows an improvement of 18 places since Aston Business School’s last ranking. It was also placed 15th in Europe.
The school also ranked highly at number five in the UK for ‘career progress’, which is calculated according to changes in the level of seniority and the size of company the alumni are working in now, compared to before their Executive MBA.
Professor Michael West, executive dean of Aston Business School, said: “For our graduates to successfully attract salaries of 75 per cent more than when they started the course is an impressive endorsement of the course and of Aston Business School.
“It shows that we are delivering programmes that make a genuine difference to people’s lives, careers and earnings.”
