The Manufacturing Computer Solutions Best of British Manufacturing IT Awards 2006 programme is now open for nominations from UK manufacturers.
The scheme is open to companies large and small that believe they have implemented systems that have significantly improved their efficiency and effectiveness.
Categories, as last year, are: manufacturing business management, supply chain management, engineering design and management, IT and network infrastructure; and plant and factory controls.
Manufacturers that believe they have a special story to tell should email btinham@findlay.co.uk for an entry form.
They will be asked to provide a brief submission demonstrating their achievements and system details ready for shortlisting assessment by the panel of independent judges.
Deadline for the judging panel is May 31. Publication of the results will be in the September 2006 issue of Manufacturing Computer Solutions, with presentation of the awards themselves at the Best of British Manufacturing IT conference II at Haydock Park Race Course on September 26.
Winners of the 2006 Awards will present their achievements for the first time at the 2007 conference in February 2007.
