Loudspeaker manufacturer and distributor, Mission Symphonix is to get integrated supply chain software for its sales, manufacturing, finance and distribution, from up-coming IT specialist Strategix.
Mission, which employs over 100 and is headquartered in Huntingdon, has been producing loudspeakers for 24 years. It was the first to incorporate NXT technology into flat loudspeakers, and is a recognised leader both in terms of its technology and manufacturing techniques.
The firm says Strategix was a natural choice to support its expectation of fast growth. Mission begins implementation of Strategix shortly and expects to be fully operational by the 1st August 2001.
Said Steve Adams, Mission’s IT manager: “Mission supplies both independent retail outlets and high street stores in the UK, Europe, North America and the Far East. Given the international nature of our business the system needs to satisfy the financial requirements of world trading. Strategix fulfils all the criteria.”
Jack Sane, Strategix sales director, said: “We recognised Mission’s core business requirements: sophisticated currency management and optimum order processing and management. Strategix software is capable of growing and developing with the company, offering Mission an end to end and scaleable solution.”
