Dr Clive Hickman was recognised for his contribution to industry through innovative leadership at the Business Achievement Awards at Molineux Stadium.
Hickman said: “It was a privilege and an honour to be recognised with a Business Achievement Award by the university. I owe my thanks to the university and the opportunity it gave me at the start of my career.”
The judges were tasked with selecting a former graduate of the university who was an ‘outstanding leader’ within business or industry, had risen to a position of leadership and could demonstrate how their skills enabled them to contribute an improvement.
Deputy vice-chancellor professor Ian Oakes said: “The Business Achievement Awards enable us to celebrate graduates, employers and organisations who deserve recognition for their excellent contribution to business, enterprise and the economy.”
