Norbert Dentressangle has appointed Neil Adcock (pictured) to head up the continued development of its UK logistics business.
Adcock, who has 15 years' experience in a variety of analytical and business development roles at both Wincanton and, more recently, CEVA Logistics, will look after new business development across all market sectors, seeking to build on the company's presence in retail, manufacturing and consumer goods, to extend its leadership position in frozen food, tyre distribution and reverse logistics, and to continue to develop new products and markets.
Norbert Dentressangle's business development director, Mike Rice said: "Despite difficult conditions, Norbert Dentressangle has shown solid growth in the last 12 months with a raft of new contracts and contract renewals with major UK customers including CHEP, LG Electronics, Greggs, Groupe SEB, Mitsubishi, Speedibake and Toyota Materials Handling.
"In order to maintain this growth, we recognise the need to demonstrate our commitment to working with new customers and our willingness to invest in the design and deployment of best in class, bespoke supply chain solutions.
"In a short space of time, Neil has shown himself to be a real asset as we continue to raise the bar in the quality of our response to our prospective customers' requirements."
