New Microsoft role to help Charteris users cut data centre costs

The appointment is good news for the company’s clients, who will now be able to take easier advantage of virtualisation (running multiple virtual servers from few physical servers), which many see as one of the greatest opportunities for improving responsiveness and cutting cost. Microsoft Virtual Server is Microsoft’s virtualisation platform. Microsoft partners enjoy high levels of support in architecture and design, as well as in delivery of server virtualisation projects, through the company’s Global Solutions Technical Team (GSTT).
