An interactive workshop about integrated business planning (IBP) is being jointly hosted by business improvement specialist Oliver Wight EAME and Oracle in London on 27 November, 2013.
The one-day workshop in the Knightsbridge Suite at the Oracle Offices in London will demonstrate the ways in which IBP (advanced sales and operation planning) can give customers control over all demand, product and supply chain processes.
The day, presented by Oliver Wight partner Jerry Shanahan (pictured), includes an overview of IBP, a tutorial on enabling technology and inspiring examples of IBP in practice.
Shanahan said: "It is important to find a solution that provides the critical link between top-down financial plans and bottom-up operational plans, so they are robust and developed to meet the needs of the strategic goals. Companies that are successfully implementing IBP now have an effective process in place for aligning and realigning their strategic, business and operational objectives and core processes across all functions in their organisations. This results in a positive financial impact."
