Optenet to provide free web filtering solution to Infosec attendees
It may only be worth $39, but WebFilter PC from IT security firm Optenet will be given away free to all Infosec exhibition attendees next week.
Delegates will get a complimentary one year licence – just as they did at the February Safer Internet Day – the annual event to promote safe and responsible use of online technologies.
Optenet regional director Northern Europe Kevin Roberts says the firm has been prompted to repeat this offer by what it sees as an alarming rise in Cyber-bullying.
"Providing free copies of Optenet's WebFilter PC is a significant step towards protecting children online, in conjunction with awareness and education of the problem itself," he says.
