The company, which supplies electrical control systems, cable harnesses and sub-contract manufacturing solutions to many of the world’s largest machinery builders, has used the power of animation to talk potential customers through the process and how it can help them increase capacity, reduce lead times and mitigate the risk of fluctuating sales.
Videos are between 90 and 150 seconds long and are available via the company’s website and through their social media channels, with the first one focusing on ‘unlocking your growth potential’, whilst the second one asks the question…’are you losing orders because you’re too busy’.
The third video introduces how PP Control & Automation has worked with Ishida Europe - a designer, manufacturer and installer of weighing, inspection and packaging lines – to increase its capacity and sales.
Says operations director John Priest: “We first started purchasing electrical harnesses from PP, a relatively simple and transactional supplier relationship.
“This progressed rapidly and the company is now one of our top strategic partners, responsible for the base machine build of our CCW multi-head food weighers, including building and fitting all associated controls.
“By adopting strategic outsourcing, we have increased our production capacity and lifted any constraints to growth. It means we can remain agile to fluctuating manufacturing demands, whilst also providing best in class lead times to our customers.”
