Manufacturers are being offered the chance to meet production planning and scheduling experts at 29 events across seven countries, with Preactor's European tour of planning and scheduling excellence.
The tour is currently heading for Spain, which, perhaps because of its recent recession, is showing a strong interest in learning how to improve manufacturing operations and efficiency.
Preactor CEO Mike Novels says that, in addition to demonstrations of APS (advanced planning and scheduling), manufacturers can discuss their own production challenges to discover new opportunities.
"With over 3,000 customers across 68 countries, ranging from SMEs to global, multi-site, multi-national sector leaders, and a global team of 1,000 accredited professionals, we have a wide range of experience and expertise across all areas of production planning and scheduling," he says.
"But this global authority base is comprised of specialists across many different countries, all with a great deal of real-world experience at a local level. It is this combination of global and local experience that we are looking to make available to manufacturers in our European Tour."
