Procter & Gamble says it is transforming its supply chain on the back of Axway's business-to-business solution for external managed file transfers.

P&G's Chuck Patterson, service manager for enterprise application integration, explains that the solution has been improving communication, within and outside P&G, by delivering secure file transfer with real-time visibility and control. "It is crucial we have the flexible partner onboarding and management as well as the reliable and secure file transfer capabilities the Axway solution provides," he says. "A seamless supply chain is good news for P&G and good news for our customers and consumers. It's all about getting our brands to consumers efficiently and effectively." He makes the point that with the new system, P&G gets a new level of agility to respond quickly to changes in its supply chain. "With Axway we are innovating our global, diverse supply chain," he says. An Axway-hosted Webcast, entitled 'Increased Efficiency, Security and Visibility of File Transfers at Procter & Gamble,' is to be aired on Wednesday, June 24 at 1:30 p.m. EDT.
