Minerva Industrial Systems, the QAD Mfg/Pro enterprise software implementer whose parent company Maxima (now changing its name to Azur) recently acquired Weir Systems from the Weir Group, says it will be focusing on QAD’s ‘eB’ supply chain-orientated enterprise software at the up-coming CIM Show.
QAD eB Desktop, it says, provides quick and easy access to the full functionality of Mfg/Pro eB all from within a web browser, with all that means in terms of easier maintenance and remote accessibility.
Minerva says it will also be demonstrating a range of integrated third party applications – e-commerce and payroll, to product configuration, CRM and EDI – designed to support most types of manufacturing and a range of industries.
Meanwhile another Azur/ Maxima company M2 Systems, a JD Edwards ERP reseller, will be exhibiting that firm’s new multi-platform OneWorld Xe. M2 says OneWorld Xe delivers powerful agile, collaborative, Internet enabled manufacturing business support at SME prices.
You get everything from front office process handling, to manufacturing, distribution and logistics, HR, finance and customer service support.
M2 was launched at CIM two years ago and has already realised significant successes, with, for example, Racal Instruments, Westcode Semiconductors and Southampton Photonics.
