Qinetiq robots keep defence contractor on course
The UK defence services group Qinetiq warned today (31 March) that with defence budgets under pressure from government programmes to reduce deficits and policy reviews still underway, it was difficult to predict its principal markets.
However, the company said it remained on course to deliver on financial expectations for the financial year ending 31 March with a strong contribution having been made from its Q-net vehicle survivability anti grenade net, as well as Talon robots (pictured) and Swats individual gunfire detection systems supporting operations in Afghanistan.
