Renishaw, the global engineering technologies business which currently employs over 1,600 staff in Gloucestershire, is to take on an additional 120 people for its five sites in the county to meet the company's growth plans. Recruitment open evenings will be held at the company's Stonehouse factory on 21 and 28 March between 4pm and 8pm. There will be the opportunity to discuss career opportunities with Renishaw staff and also have tours of the world-class machine shop located at the site.
Speaking about the recruitment drive, Renishaw's group HR manager Peter Bowler said the new positions were just part of a wider strategy to recruit and develop talented individuals who would help the company take advantage of many global commercial opportunities. He added: "We are additionally in the process of interviewing for 25 apprentice positions, plus this summer we will again have around 80 undergraduate placements."
