RF in a box to ease mobile data collection

Supply chain execution software firm Catalyst is offering a bundled SAP data collection solution for companies taking their first steps into mobile warehousing using RF data collection devices. Dubbed Catalyst SAPConsole QuickStart, it includes hardware (handheld devices, RF mobile infrastructure), software (for the most commonly implemented transactions) and services – and the firm claims that it reduces the cost, risk and effort of SAPConsole implementations. Enrico Cabrini, SAP Solutions Manager for Catalyst, says: “RF is becoming an increasingly attractive option for companies looking to mobilise their data collection, but many are put off by the time it takes to implement a solution. With QuickStart a lot of the groundwork is already done.”
