Manufacturing business software and services provider Sage has unveiled a new deployment method for its flagship ERP X3 software that, it says, provides more choice and flexibility.
Sage Enterprise Business general manager Bob Anderson says that the system now offers not only the option of a bespoke project implementation with global support, but also a predefined domestic roll-out for growing companies.
He explains that the new deployment method for ERP X3 includes a predefined implementation framework that is "optimally suited" to smaller manufacturers with standard industry processes and domestic operations.
Pre-set parameters include 16 user roles and 140 visual processes with 192 set up wizards, and Anderson states that these will accelerate its deployment, citing as little as 35 days for getting up and running.
"We've already seen huge success in the UK market for Sage ERP X3 among larger organisations and, thanks to our new deployment option, mid-sized firms can now benefit from a preconfigured version of the solution that quickly transforms business insight, and can expand as they grow," states Anderson.
And, given that research recently commissioned by Sage revealed that 32% of medium sized businesses are most concerned by system ROI he argues: "Sage ERP X3 has been optimised to offer an agile and robust ERP solution with a compelling cost to market and speed of implementation, making it the perfect choice for businesses wanting to achieve rapid ROI."
