Manufacturing software developer Sanderson has won a contract to supply its Unity ERP solution to the largest contract wallcovering printer in the UK, Anstey Wallpaper Company.
Based in Loughborough, Anstey has the broadest machine profile in Europe, and says it chose the Sanderson solution to replace a mixture of in-house and Masterpac software and help increase efficiency and profits.
Anstey finance director Graham Francis says the company recognised that developing and supporting multiple systems was increasingly problematic, and putting the business’s expansion at risk.
“We conducted a comprehensive evaluation to identify which solution could support our commercial and development objectives,” explains Francis.
“Whilst some suppliers’ bids were less expensive, we needed a solution that provided long-term flexibility and scalability to help us maintain and grow our market position. The Sanderson solution stood out as offering the best value in helping us achieve future growth,” he adds.
He believes that Sanderson’s modular design will enable Anstey to easily add further functionality as its business needs change, while optimising operations to maximise production capacity.
He also says that the integrated system will automate manual processes, thus reducing errors and helping to eliminate task duplication to increase efficiency. The Sanderson software will also provide a single information source to improve management visibility and decision-making across the business.
