SAP set to help SMEs run e-commerce in the cloud
SAP partners ePages and Honico eBusiness, in Germany, are together launching a cloud-based e-commerce solution for SMEs running the SAP Business All-in-One solution.
Wilfried Beeck, CEO of ePages, says that the solution sets up an SME with an e-commerce site, hosted in the cloud, with web orders processed alongside existing sales in the SAP All-in-One back end.
The on-demand webshop is developed by ePages, which develops e-commerce cloud services, while integration with SAP Business All-in-One is the province of Honico.
"With the integration of our on-demand shops, we are making the entrance into professional e-commerce much easier for SAP Business All-in-One users," comments Beeck.
"After the successful webshop integration of SAP Business One last year, we are now expanding our solution portfolio to include the integration to SAP Business All-in-One," he explains.
Users of SAP Business All-in-One can order the new software online and either install it themselves or have a partner, such as ePages, do the set-up and configuration.
