The company has launched a free end-to-end service to help businesses of all sizes make the transition to the new legislation, which comes into effect in April next year. They are offering free consultations and fully assisted support to help both levy-paying and non-levy-paying businesses recruit, train and qualify apprentices across the country.
Semta are strong supporters of the government’s Levy, with Christian Warden, head of technical services, saying: “We have been calling for clarity – and the government is responding. Semta champions the use of skills to enhance social mobility and wealth creation so the new measures to help those from disadvantaged backgrounds are particularly welcome.
“We are ready to redouble our efforts to ensure that our sector overcomes any obstacles and makes the most of the opportunities the Apprenticeship Levy will bring.”
