Secure, single sign-on to SAP using Secude v4.2 now comes with a central administration console and support for Microsoft Windows Vista as well as new authentication mechanisms.
Secude secure login provides a variety of options for user authentication to SAP systems and confidential communication between SAP components. It also means that SAP users can enable the recommended SAP security module SNC (Secure Network Communications) without having to implement a company-wide PKI (Public Key Infrastructure).
The company also says that its administration console facilitates security and system management during day-to-day operations, providing functions for certificate creation, remote maintenance via web browser and help pages covering configuration details.
And with Vista support, Secude makes the point that users will be able to migrate to the new operating system trouble-free at any time.
“With the new functionality and an attractive price-performance ratio, we enable SAP customers to easily benefit from the security and productivity advantages of SAP SNC,” says Peter Adams, business unit manager for SAP Solutions at Secude.
