SKF has unveiled a new combined facility at its Luton headquarters as part of the firm's Solution Factory programme.
The bearings manufacturer will integrate services including asset efficiency optimisation, lubrication analysis and sustainability management at the site.
The move comes as part of the Solution Factory programme- a global initiative to improve business performance through integrating facilities.
Luton joins SKF sites in China, Tawain, India and Sweden operating under the programme.
Michael Crean, director of SKF service division, said: "The global SKF Solution factory programme is a vital element in our long term strategy, as it repositions our business as a key provider of knowledge engineering to customers at all levels."
The Luton facility was opened by Vartan Vartanian, president of SKF service division, at an official opening ceremony in front of 60 guests.
