SolidWorks Office suite is priced at $7,500, and supported by its own Subscription Service programme, which is priced at an annual rate of $1,500. Existing SolidWorks customers that wish to upgrade to SolidWorks Office can do so at a reduced price of $1,500, not $6,000 as we incorrectly stated in August.
Just to remind you, Solidworks’ Office does for CAD/CAM what MS Word did for office users – bundles pretty well everything in an integrated suite for all of productivity and presentation. It combines the firm’s Windows-based 3D modelling suite Solidworks 2001 with six of its most popular add-ons.
Users get everything from part and assembly modelling to drawing generation, data interoperability, photo-realistic rendering, standard part libraries, design animation, 3D web publishing, feature recognition and design analysis tools.
