Spirax Sarco steams ahead with product configurator system
Global steam and fluids equipment manufacturer Spirax Sarco says it expects to see “significant efficiency gains in sales and support” when it implements Socrates web-enabled product configurator software from Cincom Systems.
The benefits will come from better accuracy in product sizing and selection, by enabling both internal personnel and customers (via the web) to produce product selections more quickly and with reduced engineering and technical support.
The system will ultimately be rolled out for world-wide uses, with multi language capabilities. And it will also cover maintenance of technical data, making that more efficient.
With 1,600 sales, support and technical engineers across the globe and increasingly complex requirements and products, that’s going to make a big difference.
