£20m SSI, the food and beverage industries-focused Tropos ERP system developer, owned by Chelford, says order intake is up 76% against last year, and it’s expanding its services.
The company, which last year acquired RFID solutions firm Agility Systems and SAP and Microsoft development specialist Shian cites Dairy Farmers of Great Britain, Naturally Best, Glisten, Neopost, Supercook and Findus as new customers.
Group marketing director Neville Merritt says the company now has much broader product and service offerings. SSI has, for example, signed up with the Basingstoke-based RFID Centre, where it is working with Intermec, while its new Gold certified Microsoft developer status has enabled the company to add Microsoft Dynamics XA (Navision as was) ERP implementation to its services.
Other developments include new services in the SAP and Microsoft worlds for problem solving and development. Dubbed OneCall, it’s about offering what Merritt calls a “warm body” on-demand, with a range of pricing options.
