Texan ERP support swaggers into Sheffield
Texas-based IT services company AX Enterprises has opened a European sales, support and marketing office in Sheffield for Microsoft Dynamics AX (formerly Axapta) users.
AX says it specialises in the metal fabrication, distribution, construction, accounting, and utilities sectors, providing support for Dynamics AX data migration, change management and upgrade.
Mark Thackeray, formerly of Junctions Solutions, is new European MD. “Establishing AX Enterprises in Europe will be a great challenge and we plan to expand rapidly with local IT specialists joining our team over the coming months,” he says.
“This is an exciting market and we are working closely with Microsoft to aggressively build up our European client base… With Sheffield’s improving links to airports, the city is an excellent place from which to work internationally.”
AX already has a team of 14 IT professionals, with experience in ERP working across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
