Automotive insurance and motor repair research group Thatcham Research has successfully deployed Sage ERP X3, which it expects to improve collaboration, drive productivity and support growth.
According to Ruth McRitchie, finance director at Thatcham, the system is being rolled out to Thatcham's 180 employees to handle everything from CRM to employee expenses, purchasing, sales and general ledger.
"Before investing in Sage ERP X3, like many businesses we were operating an ageing IT system and needed an up to date ERP solution that could look after our entire business lifecycle," comments McRitchie.
"Sage ERP X3 will enable us to automate complex business processes and increase operational efficiencies, ultimately serving to reduce our costs and maximise productivity," she adds.
McRitchie says that the new Sage ERP X3 solution will underpin the company's motor industry operations, providing a central hub for business-critical information.
Sage ERP X3 was selected towards the end of last year through Sage business partner K3.
