The new workshop includes Dura’s modular furniture, chosen to enable Miller’s to maintain their reputation as ‘the pinnacle of foodservice support’.
Dura and Miller’s Vanguard worked closely together throughout the planning stages of the new Equipment Reuse Factory. The consultation process enabled Dura to understand how the plans for the new factory would impact on the predicted growth of the business.
Dura designed a configuration which suits Millers Vanguard’s present requirements while also providing flexibility for future projection. The space used a combination of Dura’s furniture range to maximise the space and create an efficient workflow, it includes workbenches integrated with mobile tool storage and large storage cupboards adjacent to each work station. The Workshop Manager, commented: "Dura's design has suited all our business needs, from the practicality to our company's aesthetics. Being able to create a product of exceptional quality requires the tools and equipment of the same calibre".
With their new state-of-the-art furniture in place, the Equipment Reuse Factory can work at full capacity, the technicians can work on a maximised amount of client projects at one time and disruptions in production times due to failing equipment is now a thing of the past.
The Workshop Manager continued: "Millers Vanguard's ethos has been to deliver a service and product beyond our customers’ expectations, Dura has shown they too share this ethos, with their workshop design we have onsite today fit to move forward at the forefront of this rapidly evolving sector.”
