German tightening and torquing tools manufacturer Stahlwille says it is implementing IFS's ERP solution to increase efficiency and streamline businesses processes.
Stahlwille CEO Jörg Czempisz says the ocmpany's IFS finacials system is to be extended to include components for engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, sales, distribution, and HR throughout the group.
It will replace a mix of home grown and proprietary business software that is currently slowing down development and expansion of the company, he explains.
"We need a complete ERP-solution for our enterprise, which will enable us to set up consistent processes across the business to increase general efficiency and customer orientation, says Czempisz.
"By implementing IFS Applications, we can reach this target and can raise our competitive position significantly… IFS Applications will place us in the perfect position to realize these plans,2 he adds.
Stahlwille's implementation will take place in two stages, completing by December 31st 2011. The project is valued at more than €1 million.
