Watson-Marlow to showcase product range at PPMA

2 mins read

Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions, a developer in peristaltic pumps and associated fluid path technologies, will showcase its diverse product range during PPMA at the NEC in Birmingham, UK, from 24 – 26 September.

Watson-Marlow's product range to be shown at PPMA

Located at Stand E80, WMFTS will demonstrate its peristaltic and sinusoidal pumps which enable companies to optimise efficiencies and increase productivity while reducing energy costs, water use, and waste with shear-sensitive pumping.

Visitors to the WMFTS stand can learn how Certa Sine pumps from MasoSine, maintain yield while increasing output in food and beverage, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and cosmetics applications. Due to its one shaft, one seal design, Certa is considerably more energy efficient than other positive displacement pumps.

The Qdos range of chemical metering and dosing pumps offer reliable and cost-effective performance for water and waste treatment in a wide range of food and beverage processing plants and applications. Qdos H-FLO, the latest addition to the range, is designed specifically for higher flow rates up to 600 L/hr.

Other products on the stand will include high-purity Aflex PTFE flexible hoses with best-in-class kink resistance for the most challenging applications, and a 530 series cased pump designed to deliver unrivalled accuracy with fluid fully contained and an intuitive user interface.

Learn how we can support your process throughout upstream, downstream and final fill/finish life sciences applications with our benchtop peristaltic filling machines, scalable peristaltic cased pump range, and PTFE flexible hoses.

On display at the Watson-Marlow stand during PPMA will be:

  • Certa Sine pumps from MasoSine, part of WMFTS, maintain yield while increasing output for food and beverage, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical and cosmetics applications. MasoSine recently expanded its Certa Sine pump range with a new space-saving model, the Certa Compact.
  • High-purity Aflex PTFE flexible hoses offer best-in-class kink resistance for the most challenging applications.
  • The Qdos 120 chemical metering and dosing pump cuts costs through higher precision metering, with an accuracy of ±1 % and repeatability of ±0.5 % in dosing.
  • Watson-Marlow 530 and 630 cased peristaltic pumps, which have a gentle action that is ideal for pharmaceutical applications. The superior flow stability of Watson-Marlow cased pumps provides accurate and repeatable process control, which prevents non-conformance and maintains GMP compliance.
  • Flexicon PF7+ is a benchtop peristaltic dispensing pump developed for accurate and reliable manual filling of sensitive fluids in GMP production and cleanroom environments. The closed fluid path removes any risk of cross contamination, making the PF7+ ideal for aseptic filling.
  • The Flexicon Flexfeed 30 (FF30) is a bottle handling and capping machine for bottles up to 50 mm in diameter. In combination with the PF series, liquids can be filled automatically in volumes from less than 0.2 mL to approximately 100 mL.

John Rowley, Sales and Business Development Manager, Food and Beverage Sector at WMFTS UK, said: “Our team of seasoned experts will be available to share valuable insights and address any questions at PPMA 2024.
