WebFocus for SAP now certified for Netweaver

The company says that WebFocus for SAP significantly reduces the risk, cost, and time associated with moving or transforming data and applications into the SAP Business Warehouse (BW). Its system now scales to handle more concurrent users and has ‘optimised intelligent adaptors’, claimed to improve performance by dynamically generating efficient ABAP or MDX requests to the SAP application server. Other developments include: improved metadata management, enabling users to drill down to specific object types within SAP as they are represented in SAP; multiple language support as well as Unicode configurations; and an intelligent GUI development tool that recognises SAP NetWeaver BI metadata and enforces the associated SAP OLAP reporting rules. Incidentally, WebFocus also delivers significant features to make reporting against SAP hierarchies easier to filter, display and navigate – while also reporting simultaneously off two root nodes. Current users include Valero Energy, JoAnn Stores, Airbus France, Hillerich & Bradsby and Manitoba Hydro.
