World-class conference speaker line up announced for Manufacturing Management Show 2017

The organisers of the Manufacturing Management Show, today announced that BAE Systems will present the opening keynote address on 22 November.  The Manufacturing Management Show, organised in association with Manufacturing Management magazine, is the only UK event dedicated to the wide and varied needs of modern manufacturing leaders.  The show is being held 22-23 November at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry and is now open for free ticket reservations at: www.mmshow.co.uk

Using the F35 fighter jet project as a case study, BAE Systems’ Jon Evans, will show how engaging the people closest to a project can result in increased output, cut costs and enhance build quality and improve customer perceptions. The BAE Systems presentation will kick-off two days of free exhibition, conferences and workshops compiled to bring everything visitors need to know about running a successful manufacturing site under one roof.

Day 2 of the event kicks off with Coca-Cola demonstrating how the company’s CI programme enables them to focus on high quality production and asset care to maintain 24/7 high-speed manufacturing. Trevor Stacey, operations director, will demonstrate the importance of establishing, communicating and maintaining standards.

The full conference programme will deliver an educational agenda highlighting all the key operational areas of manufacturing management from maintenance to health and safety and HR to materials handling. Other presentations include, a mock health & safety trial with Pinsent Mason, Festo discussing the right skills for Industry 4.0, The MTC considering digital manufacturing and its potential value using real world examples to demonstrate the whole process and The EEF will look at the Apprenticeship Levy and how manufacturers are reacting to it, building on EEF survey data.
