Compact handling solution with spiral conveyor
A new spiral conveyor is available for sites with limited floorspace and where goods need to be moved around the facility at different heights.
The WF 3000 conveyor, from MiniTec UK, has a compact footprint of 3 sq m, so can serve as a storage and production buffer for conveyed items within a small base area.
The unit consists of a modular conveyor track of up to 15 sections with a width of 240 mm. The height distance between each section is 200 mm, maintaining a low incline angle which helps to safeguard against load slippage as well as contributing to the overall compactness of the assembly.
The unit has a variable conveying speed of 5 to 50 m/min.
MiniTec says the unit is durable and offers virtually maintenance-free operation. It is also resilient to contamination and corrosion.
