Duct cleaning company Ductbusters is offering a new risk assessment service for site ventilation systems. The company has previously given risk assessment advice on an ad hoc basis but has now decided to launch this as a standalone service.
Poorly maintained ventilation systems can have a serious effect, both to workforce health and to the business as a whole. A Ductbusters surveyor will assess the internal conditions within a ventilation system, measuring dust levels, microbiological content, temperature, humidity and carbon dioxide.
A report will be issued, detailing areas of priority, and advising on the scale and scope of treatment, along with suggested remedial action. This can then be used for budget or planning meetings.
Ian Wall, sales director for Ductbusters says: "We have always provided risk assessment on request and we have seen demand for this grow over recent years as organisations look to carefully plan cleaning operations in light of budget restrictions.
"We have taken the decision to launch it formally and offer risk assessment as a separate, additional service."
