Petrochemical dyes manufacturer migrates to Epicor
Global fuels and lubricants marking firm John Hogg says it has selected Epicor 9 next-generation ERP software to upgrade from its long-serving DOS-based custom system.
According to Jamie Williams, IT manager at John Hogg, the implementation will merge its financial, inventory, CRM and production functionality – using Epicor's data migration tool to extract, cleanse, verify and import its master data sets.
"We chose Epicor 9 because we feel it provides us with the greatest flexibility, in terms of how we want to run the system now and develop the business in the future," says Williams.
"While our existing system has been very reliable and served us well, moving to an open architecture that allows us to quickly refine the way we use Epicor and extract management information to ensure we make fully informed business decisions, means we can become even more efficient as a business," he adds.
