31 May will see Adobe kicking off a free five-city road show entitled ‘The Power of Acrobat’, starting in Birmingham and then running across the UK and Ireland.
The tour is bringing together industry leaders such as Doug Miles from AIIM Europe, alongside Adobe specialists, to advocate how to deal with the increasing pressure on businesses for better document, email and electronic records management.
It also offers knowledge workers (which Adobe defines as anyone that has to deal with information in their primary job role) the opportunity to learn how they can more effectively create, communicate and collaborate in the workplace.
Delegates in Birmingham will hear from guest speaker Martyn Day on digital collaboration in manufacturing. Next stop will be Dublin, then Edinburgh, London and finally Manchester, where attendees will be joined by learning technology specialist William Ward, who will talk about eLearning initiatives.
Says Mark Wheeler, Adobe marketing director, Northern Europe: “Organisations across every industry face a growing pressure to not only comply with increasing legislation, but to become more efficient, have better control over information and improve the service they provide their customers. Dealing with these pressures can be a challenge but one we will be addressing in the ‘Power of Acrobat’ tour.”
