Barclays sparks off new relationship with REL Group
Barclays has provided Renfrewshire Electronics (REL Group) with a £2.1m funding package along with all day to day banking services. The deal follows a period of growth and business diversification from the supply chain management solutions provider in the past year.
As REL Group moves into its 20th year of trading, the funding package will allow further expansion and support the growth of its newly launched recruitment business.
Established in 1995, the Port Glasgow company provides IT and electronics supply chain management solutions to a range of computer manufacturing and services businesses. The company has established itself as a global player in the competitive and fast moving technology market, managing supply and distribution for a number of major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
The transaction was managed and funded by Barclays' Corporate Development Team.
