Blyk, the free mobile operator funded by advertising, has deployed Information Builders’ WebFocus and iWay software to access its data warehouses and enable reporting to all levels of the business.
Blyk worked with InfoBuild Oy, the distributor in Finland, and plans to launch its first service in the UK during 2007 with other markets to follow.
“We will use WebFocus for all our reporting needs and iWay to integrate our customer and marketing data warehouses with our online advertising engine,” says Kari Penttilä, chief technology officer of Blyk.
“By doing this, we will be able to provide a real-time service to both our customers through updated and more relevant media content, and staff so they can proactively deliver these services based on real-time feedback.”
