The area occupies a 6.03-acre fully contained site. The new tenant was secured by agents Legat Owens and JLL, acting on behalf of Legal & General.
Mark Diaper, director, Legat Owen said: "Once the outgoing tenant served notice we worked quickly to put the parameters in place for the marketing of Unit 1. Securing Boccard at the outset of the marketing campaign confirms the strong interest in the Deeside area from occupiers and has resulted in a limited vacancy period and minimal interruption for the Landlord."
Boccard UK has been increasing its factory presence in the UK for several years. In 2022, the company opened a Flintshire manufacturing site to provide equipment for the nuclear industry.
Founded in 1918, Boccard UK is a family-owned businesses that operates ibn 20 countries. Its North Wales facility will play a role in advancing nuclear technologies such as developing advanced reactor systems.
