Product configurator software specialist Cincom Systems has signed what it describes as a strategic ISV (independent software vendor) agreement with Microsoft to deliver enhanced ERP solutions to manufacturers with complex production.
The deal involves Microsoft Dynamics AX, and is aimed at manufacturers in the aerospace and defence, electronics, HVAC and industrial equipment industries.
Microsoft says it selected Cincom for its 40 years' experience in transforming complexity into sustainable competitive advantage for global manufacturers.
"Dynamic businesses display the agility to anticipate and embrace change while sustaining competitive advantage," comments Doug Kennedy, vice president, Microsoft Dynamics partners and support services.
"The enhanced offering from Cincom combines their vertical industry expertise with the Microsoft Dynamics AX application, and is an example of the innovative solutions being delivered by our partners to help transform complex enterprises into dynamic businesses," he adds.
"[Customers] will be able to embrace nimble, dynamic systems that quickly simplify complexity and keep pace with today's ultra-competitive business environment," states Dave Schwarber, managing director of Cincom's Business Manufacturing Solutions division.
