CoCreate’s 2007 OneSpace CAD and PLM now shipping

Web-based engineering collaboration software developer CoCreate’s 2007 OneSpace suite is now ready for shipping on general release. The system is based on its ‘dynamic modelling’ approach to 3D product development, and takes 3D beyond design, into streamlining business processes in line with modern PLM (product lifecycle management) thinking. The 2007 release also adds new design modules and greater depth, particularly for manufacturing SMEs, with, for example, good data management and very rapid implementation. OneSpace Model Manager’s claimed 15 minute deployment brings what CoCreate describes as “complete relief from traditional data management headaches,” while its offer of subscription or conventional licensing options gives financial flexibility. Also, OneSpace Model Manager can either serve as the system of record for product data, or share product data with other systems through 2007’s updated out-of-the-box integrations.
