Cummins drives internet traffic with Interwoven

Industrial diesel engines manufacturer Cummins says it is using Interwoven web solutions to transform its global web presence.

The organisation has gone live with Interwoven TeamSite and LiveSite to create customised web platforms for distributors and dealers in 190 countries. “The web is the most effective way we can connect with our global network,” says Kristina Frazier-Henry, engine business unit IT director for marketing, sales, and customer engineering at Cummins. “But one size doesn’t fit all; we need a targeted web approach that delivers tailored content for specific audiences. Interwoven has helped us transform our website into a more effective marketing channel, while ensuring system uptime and helping to lower overall system costs.” She indicates that the development has significantly increased website traffic and page views, while also “drastically” cutting support costs.
