Learn how spot disengagement among your employees and reinvigorate morale to boost your productivity at Works Management's Manufacturing Conference (WMMC) 2014 in Leicester on 20-21 November.
Among the highlights at this year's conference are a keynote interactive workshop called 'Sherlock Holmes – a case of mistaken identity'. Led by Neil Lewin (pictured) of training provider Festo, this will show delegates how to spot and inspire disengaged employees.
With Sherlock Holmes unavailable, join Dr Watson and the boys from 'Festo Yard' to help identify the disengaged employees responsible for a heinous crime against UK manufacturing and discover how you can bring them to justice.
Other workshop sessions at the Festo-sponsored WMMC include psychometric testing to establish your preferred leadership style and how to deploy it to maximise CI success, and 'psychodrama' – a form of role play and dramatic self presentation – to help you better engage the workforce in change.
Headlining the conference programme is a glittering line-up of managers who have delivered CI success at leading companies including Sony, Coca-Cola and Weetabix.
Sessions will focus on simple steps to overcoming a silo mentality and tips on becoming a more inspirational leader of change programmes.
Delegates will then have the chance to see real lineside examples of world-class employee engagement by taking part in a factory tour.
This year's tour hosts are Bombardier Transportation, Derby; Triumph Motorcycles, Hinckley; Weetabix, Burton Latimer; and Vaillant, Belper.
Demand for the event is expected to be high so please book early to avoid disappointment. Call Julie Knox on 01322 221144.
