Kenard Engineering has acquired shopfloor data collection systems firm DLoG (UK) and is now integrating the company into its software division alongside Seiki Systems.
Says Kenard managing director Keith Ellis: “DLoG’s solutions, experience and customer base complement those of Seiki Systems, enabling us to extend our ability to deliver innovative solutions and high quality services by leveraging the core capabilities of both companies.”
He says that DLoG will continue to operate from its Birmingham headquarters, under John Davis, and will continue to supply the same range of hardware and software. Existing customer service and support contracts will also remain unchanged, he insists.
Meanwhile, Ellis suggests that MES (manufacturing execution systems) developer Seiki will be able to augment its turnkey systems delivery by the addition of DLoG industrial hardware range.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
