Industrial heating and drying systems manufacturer Eclipse has gone live with WinMan V7 ERP software in China following its rollout last year across several sites throughout the Americas.
According to the company, the system at the Suzhou site is aimed at accelerating business development and growth in Eclipse's Asian operations – with The WinMan selected primarily for its ability to facilitate unified information flow globally.
Eclipse director of Asian operations Mike Damsell states that key deliverables included: automated, multi-company transaction processing; inter-company engineering synchronisation; global reporting; real-time shopfloor data collection and full engineer-to-order support.
Damsell, who oversaw the implementation and integration of the WinMan system in China, sees an estimated projected revenue of more than $20 million this year.
"Implementation went very well and was smoother than expected," he says. "The integration was manageable and had no detrimental effect on production, either during the implementation phase or at the go live stage."
