Engineering users invited to shape future of Autodesk

More than 20,000 engineering and manufacturing users have helped with the development of the 2011 Autodesk Product Line.

That's the claim from CAD/CAM giant Autodesk, which says that these customers have been playing an active part in the beta testing programme. Chris Bradshaw, Autodesk senior vice president and chief marketing officer, says that Autodesk is now issuing an open invitation for additional customers to join in. "Autodesk customers play a critical role in our software development, testing and validation process. Members of our beta programs provide us with essential feedback at many stages in the development cycle, which helps our products meet the needs and demands of our user community," says Bradshaw. "We are always looking for new members of our Customer Feedback Programme and invite Autodesk customers to help shape the future of our products," he adds. The feedback programme has been running for more than a decade, providing an interactive online community where Autodesk users can experience products before they're officially released.
