Manufacturing ERP software developers Epicor and Syspro have been awarded a 'distinguished honouree' medal in the Computer Software Company of the Year category in the 2011 International Business Awards.
Epicor has also earned a distinguished honouree medal for the Best New Computer Software Product or Service of the Year, following its introduction of Epicor 9 next generation ERP software.
Organisations from all over the world were eligible to compete across more than 40 categories, with entrants subjected to two rounds of judging by some 200 professionals worldwide. Winners were selected from more than 3,000 entries received from organisations and individuals in more than 40 nations.
"Entries to the IBAs grew by more than 80% this year, and that illustrates the increasing importance of the IBAs worldwide," says Michael Gallagher, president of the 'Stevie' awards, presenter of the IBAs.
"We congratulate all of the honourees, and we look forward to recognising them for their achievements at our gala event in Abu Dhabi on 11 October."
"It is an honour for Epicor and our next-generation ERP solution to have earned distinguished honouree medals," says John Hiraoka, executive vice president and chief marketing officer for Epicor. "Epicor is a global leader in business software solutions and this recognition is a testament to our worldwide presence and success."
"This newest honour for Syspro is another affirmation of [our] adherence to developing technology based on the needs of customers, and why Syspro enjoys one of the highest customer retention rates in the industry," comments Joey Benadretti, president of Syspro USA.
