Epicor buys Scala
ERP software developer Epicor appears to be going back to its manufacturing roots, in buying Scala Business Solutions, the public offer for which is due to closet this month. The firm is offering $1.8230 in cash plus 0.1795 shares of Epicor common stock.
Both companies talk of the usual synergies and strategic opportunities of the combination, and Scala’s supervisory board has recommended acceptance.
